I had my presentation this morning, which went pretty well. I was very nervous though. I don’t think I’ll win a prize or anything, but I’m glad I did it and even more glad that it is over. I told our department secretary that my goal was to get through the presentation without lapsing into baby talk and to not look like I just had a baby. She said I succeeded!
Logan took Elliot to the grocery store while I was away. He got fussy a couple of times but over all did ok. Logan gave him a bottle when they got home. He played with it instead of drinking it, but he didn’t get mad at it. I guess that is a step in the right direction. I was glad to see Elliot when I got home. I missed my baby boy!
In other news, we are getting a queen size bed, which will be nice for when Elliot occasionally joins us. Also, our five year anniversary is going to be the “computer anniversary.” Logan is building us our first totally new desktop computer in about 10 years, which coincidentally is about when we started dating. It should be able to run Diablo III, not that we have time for such things. I plan on primarily using it to store and edit video footage of Elliot!
It also should make WoW much prettier.
