Introducing… Elliot and Winston!

A few weeks ago, Logan and I took Elliot to the Barnes & Noble bookstore. Elliot likes to play with the Thomas the Tank engine table they have set up there, even though we have one at home! Theirs is wood, and until recently ours was the plastic and metal take and play set, so there are some differences, but still. Anyways, Elliot thoroughly enjoyed the trains but eventually decided started to wander from the table. We noticed he had a dirty diaper and decided that that was our cue to leave. We took Elliot out to the car and changed him in the hatchback. Logan went to throw away the diaper and I took Elliot to his seat. That was when he noticed we were officially leaving the store and he was not too happy about that. In fact, I’d say he had an all out 2 year old temper tantrum, ballistic style! He screamed “THOMAS! FRIENDS!” at me while I buckled him, and while I don’t usually laugh at my son when he cries, this time he was sooo ridiculous I just couldn’t help myself.
